I love old Mexican religious folk art, the inspiration for this painting. As you can see, nothing goes to waste around my house and my husband is forever saving old wood, rusty metal, etc. for me to use. (Even my brother-in-law has started bring things to me...) This piece of art is painted on an old piece of wood that my husband got from an old smoke house he tore down, so it has that really old, rustic, well-loved feel. It measures 22½" x 9½". I painted this with acrylics, then distressed and antiqued it. It would look great in with a primitive or ecclectic decor! Has been sealed with a matte sealer, but this is an indoor piece only...It is a one-of-a-kind piece, so no one else is gonna have one like it!
